Perumda Dharma Jaya Sends Nutrition Assistance to 100 ADHIV

Perumda Dharma Jaya gave nutritional assistance to 100 children living with HIV (ADHIV) through the Jakarta Child Protection Commission (KPA), at the Dharma Jaya Building, Jalan Raya Palasan, Cakung, East Jakarta, Wednesday (7/24).

The assistance was directly handed over by Finance and Perumda Dharma Human Resource (HR) Director, Deni Alfianto Amris to Jakarta KPAP Section Head, Taufik Ali Fuad. Then it was given to six HIV/AIDS observer NGOs who will pass it on to 100 ADHIV.
According to him, the assistance in the form of rice, multi vitamins and UHT milk is part of his CSR program for people in need, as well as commemorating National Children's Day (HAN) 2024.

East Jakarta Health Sub-agency's HIV Program Manager, Vini Vanessa added she could not work alone in dealing with ADHIV. Hopefully, this kind of synergy could continue to be well made and provide wider benefits for the nation's next generation of children.
"I believe we all have our respective roles in preventing and controlling HIV/AIDS. Synergy like this is the main thing in overcoming health problems," she added.
Jakarta KPA's Support and Service Section Head, Taufik Ali Fuad uttered HIV/AIDS is currently targeting teenagers aged 12 years to adults aged 40 years with a total number of around 80,000 people.
According to him, around 60,000 people had been detected and 70 to 80 percent of them were of productive age, teenagers to adults. The rest are children aged 0-18 years.
"HIV can be prevented by not having free sex, drugs and other negative things," he uttered.
"Thank you to PD Dharma Jaya who has committed to increasing CSR for HIV/AIDS prevention," he concluded.
