Hundreds of students of Pondok Bambu 01, Pondok Bambu, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta, were invited to travel around Jakarta and tour to Bahari Museum on Jalan Pasar Ikan, Penjaringan, North Jakarta, Tuesday (7/30).

We provide this trauma healing so that they can refresh themselves

The program held by East Jakarta Mayor, Muhamad Anwar, was to relieve the trauma of students, after their school burned down last week. This program involves the East Jakarta Culture Sub-agency, Baznas Bazis and PT Transjakarta.

East Jakarta Culture Sub-agency Head, Bekah Shadaya, said this trauma healing program is held four days. As many as 499 students of SDN 01 Pondok Bambu will take turn participating the program.

Hopefully the students of SDN 01 Pondok Bambu can recover their psychology and can participate in teaching and learning activities (KBM) calmly and comfortably through this program.

"We provide this trauma healing so that they can refresh themselves and get rid of their trauma, because they saw when the fire happened," he said.

Meanwhile, Duren Sawit Sub-district's Education Implementation Unit Head, Farida Farhah, admitted there are 120 students with 10 companions participating the program every day by using three Transjakarta buses.

"This program is held up to Friday (8/2)," she admitted.
