"The playing field construction is a citizen proposal through the regional development planning forums (musrenbang), ranging from RW, urban village, sub-district, until city levels," said Head of North Jakarta Sports and Youth Sub-Department, Suhaimin, Thursday (4/30).

West Jakarta to Construct Two Playing Fields in Schools

Suhaimin explained, those 37 playing fields are 12 volleyball fields, 12 badminton fields, 3 football fields and 10 basketball fields.

"All the proposal in musrenbang have been selected. Hopefully, there will be no plan changing as all depends on Jakarta Governor's policy," he expressed.

According to him, after the construction is done, the playing fields will be handed over to citizens in each location. Therefore, citizens are asked to be responsible on the facilities management.
