Jakarta Provincial Government and Ministry of State Secretary held Presidential Archives Exhibition at Galeri Emiria Soenassa, Ali Sadikin Building, Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM).

"Based on the history, our predecessors had plans to move the capital to Palangkaraya, Bandung, even to Jonggol, West Java. Currently, it has been confirmed and determined to move to Penajem Paser, East Kalimantan," he said, Thursday (8/8).
Firman added that the archives in the form of documents, videos, blueprints, models, maps and photographs displayed are memorabilia about the development of the capital city from year to year.
"This is displayed so that the public understands that the relocation of the capital city was not carried out suddenly," he added.
According to Firman, the historical sites displayed authentically explain the development of the nation's history.
There are also various archives about Jakarta in the past with various series such as a series on tourist attractions and visits to event sites on the second floor of the building.
"The exhibition opens from 9 AM to 9 PM everyday and free. There is also IKN mockup and map," he stated.
Central Jakarta Administration Secretary, Iqbal Akbarudin, explained this exhibition is very informative and educational for the public, especially the younger generation, since it displays a series of historical events.
Iqbal added that it provides an overview of the stages of development of predecessors in uniting the nation, maintaining independence and continuing development.
"Young generation must have spirit of developing Indonesia, just like our nation's founders. So that sustainable development can be continued," he stated.
