Central Jakarta Communication, Informatics and Statistic Sub-agency Head, Lestari, said the flag distribution aimed to enliven 79th Indonesian Independence Day.

It is hoped that the distribution of these flags can build enthusiasm and motivate citizens to continue working to fill independence.
Central Jakarta City Secretary's Governmental Division Head, Ishran Prasetyawan, explained 7,500 flags are already distributed to societies since a week ago.
According to him, the flag will be distributed up to one day before August 17,2024 to RW, PKK, LMK, and Karang Taruna.
"Our target is 10,000 flags to be distributed up to August 16," he explained.
