50 Residents Participate in Food Processing Verification at Sahara RPTRA

As many as 50 residents from Sawah Besar and Kemayoran sub-districts were educated about livestock food processing by the Central Jakarta Food Security, Maritime and Agriculture Sub-agency (KPKP), Thursday (8/15). It was held at Sahara RPTRA, Jalan Rajawali Selatan VII, RT 02/02, Gunung Sahari Utara Urban Village, Sawah Besar.

Central Jakarta Secretary's Economics and Development Assistant, Bakwan Ferizan Ginting said today's training was to improve the mothers' abilities to be more varied in creating menus from processed livestock products that meet nutritional, hygienic, and healthy needs.
"It also aims to make children and families have an increasing appetite for nutritious, hygienic, and healthy food," he expressed.
40 People Participate in Livestock Diversification TrainingWith a variety of dishes that have an impact on children's appetite, he hoped that it could support the stunting eradication program in Central Jakarta.
"Besides being varied and healthy, we hope that the results of the training can improve the family economy," he asserted.
Central Jakarta KPKP Sub-agency Head, Penty Yunesi Pudyastuti explained it is the second time it has been held this year. It was previously held at Gondangdia RPTRA, Jalan Teuku Cik Ditiro, RT 01/02, Gondangdia Urban Village.
"The first participants are from Menteng and Senen sub-districts. There are now 25 people each from Sawah Besar and Kemayoran sub-districts," she explained.
She explained participants were given classroom and practical training materials. During the training, they received material on processed livestock food such as Taliwang satay, gelatin chicken, and ayam kodok, which translates to frog chicken. But there is no frog at all in the dish.
"They are also trained in making food delivery and the art of cooking photography," she stated.
