For the first time, free meal trials were given to 498 students at SDN Cideng 07 complex, consisting of 288 from SDN 07 Cideng, 178 from SDN Duri Pulo 04, 12 from the State Sanggar Kegiatan Belajar Negeri 23, and 20 from Kelompok Belajar Negeri 23.
Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono, inspected free nutritious meal trial activities at SDN Cideng 07, Gambir, Central Jakarta, on Monday (8/19). In this activity, he directly ensured that the process of providing free nutritious food was in accordance with students' needs.

"Today, the lunch boxes use environmentally friendly cardboard. The menu price alone is Rp 15,000, there may be additional costs for cooking, delivery, box costs, perhaps more or less Rp 20,000. The important thing is that the menu is good enough," he explained.
He supported this program because it was hoped that students would have adequate nutritional intake, thereby helping their growth and development as the nation's next generation. Not only that, healthy food contributed to students' concentration and focus on learning at school, and helps reduce the burden on parents by ensuring that children receive quality food at school.
"By ensuring children get adequate nutrition, we are investing in the future of the Indonesian nation. Jakarta's success for Indonesia," he added.
As for the information, the trial program is conducted using the governor's operational money. Further, this program will continue using Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds from Perumda Dharma Jaya, PAM Jaya, Bank DKI, and PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol. In its implementation, the Jakarta Education Agency (Disdik) will determine the school to be the location for the trial.
