Further, all RT/RW administrators are the front guard who interact directly with residents in their respective areas. He assessed, they play an important role in ensuring that residents are registered correctly, have valid population documents, and obtain their rights in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
"They're expected to continue to hold socialization and education to the public about the importance of population administration. Starting from the procedures for processing population documents, the rights and obligations have as a resident, the procedures that must be followed, to the use of applications to assist with population administration services," he explained.
On that occasion, he urged synergy between RT/RW administrators and urban villages, sub-districts, and related regional apparatus could continue to be improved. He also instructed urban village heads to ensure that every resident receives fair and equal treatment in the population administration process.
"Pay special attention to vulnerable community groups. Prepare anticipatory steps to overcome various possible challenges that arise in population administration services, maintain integrity, and approach residents to jointly maintain security, peace and order in their respective environments. Particularly, ahead of the regional elections 2024 (Pilkada), we hope a conducive and safe democratic process can be realized in Jakarta," he added.
Not only that, he urged RT/RW administrators together with urban village heads to minitor, understand, and protect residents. So, residents' needs could be identified and met quickly and on target.
"Implement population administration records according to applicable guidelines and standards, increase responsiveness to complaints and requests from residents regarding population, and encourage resident participation in regional development planning. So, community needs can be accommodated optimally," he uttered.
