Djarot: Currently, Education is Facing Extraordinary Challenges

Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidajat claimed that the condition of education today is pretty challenging. Especially in globalization era, the information cannot be dammed anymore and worried it would give negative effect to Indonesian children.

"Currently, our education is facing extraordinary challenges. Especially in this globalization era, we should prevent our young generation from negative information," told Djarot, after Education Day ceremony in IRTI Monas, Central Jakarta, Monday (5/4).

According to him, all parties either in home or school environment must play an active role in education development in Indonesia.

Education Service Complaint As Employee Reflection

"It depends on how the community, teachers, school environment, learners, and the curriculum could work together and show the education is inspiring," he said.

The former Mayor of Blitar added, the learners should be assisted in finding the character and identity. So they can become students with integrity, moral, honest, creative, and innovative.

"This is what has been missing and we need to grow it back. One of the efforts by glorifies teachers, because if we glorify them, we also glorify the students and the country," he explained.
