Eat Fish Campaign Held at SDN 03 Tanah Tinggi

Central Jakarta Food Security, Maritime and Agriculture Sub-agency, Wednesday (8/28), held eat fish campaign at SDN 03 Tanah Tinggi Urban Village, Johar Baru.

Central Jakarta Food Security, Maritime and Agriculture Sub-agency Head, Penty Yunesi Pudyastuti, said the program was participated by students of class 1 to 6. The program was started with eating siomay together.

600 Students of SDN Baru 03 Educated to Like Eating Fish

Next, they were educated about the importance of eating fish for growth and intelligence.

"After that they got a package of processed fish food, namely fishkatsu and milkfish," she said.

Not only students, she added, the program also targeted teachers at the school.

"Hopefully it can motivate teachers and parents to serve varied, nutritious, safe and clean fish dishes," she added.

Johar Baru Sub-district Head, Nurhelmi Savitri, appreciated the program since many children love to eat instant food rather than fish processed food nowadays.

"Hopefully children will love to eat fish through this program," she stated.
