Bank DKI's Technology and Operational Director, Amirul Wicaksono explained with JakOne Pay, Bank DKI provides the technology infrastructure and digital banking services needed to support MartiPay operations.
"JakOne Pay is an alternative digital payment integrated with the MyMRTJ application," he explained.
Bank DKI Secretary, Arie Rinaldi added this initiative is in line with Bank DKI's mission to accelerate digital transformation in various sectors, especially the transportation sector.
In the future, Bank DKI will continue to encourage innovation in digital products such as JakOne Pay and JakCard, to provide more practical, easy, and safe digital payment options for the people of Jakarta.
"We're optimistic that the synergy with MRT Jakarta will have a positive impact on the experience of public transportation users and support the city of Jakarta in realizing a smart city ecosystem," he stressed.
PT MRT Jakarta's Business Development Director, Farchad Mahfud explained that MartiPay is a new payment system option that the company has presented to the people of Jakarta, especially MRT customers.
According to him, the synergy with Bank DKI answered the need for a payment system and tool for purchasing MRT Jakarta travel tickets that minimizes infrastructure maintenance and card availability.
He hoped that MartiPay could further enhance the travel experience of MRT Jakarta users.
"Through MartiPay, the public gets easy access to one application platform for various sources of funds in making transactions at the station because its features follow the needs of the community, such as top-up balances, ticket payments via QR codes, transaction payments via QRIS, and knowing transaction history," he explained.
As for the information, Bank DKI continues to strengthen its commitment to supporting digital transformation in the transportation sector which is realized through various synergies.
JakCard can be used as a card-based digital payment option for integrated transportation in Jakarta, such as Transjakarta, Mikrotrans, MRT, LRT, and Jabodebek Commuter Line, as well as for paying entrance tickets to several tourist attractions managed by the Jakarta Provincial Government.
The synergy between Bank DKI and the Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Agency presents the Jakarta Tourist Pass as a digital solution based on an electronic card (JakCard) and application (JakOne Pay), to support tourism in Jakarta.
