Transjakarta Operates Night Shift Today

PT Transjakarta added four night bus (locally known as Amari) corridors. Therefore, there are seven corridors of Transjakarta that operate night shift buses, they are corridor II (Harmoni – Pulo Gadung), corridor V (PGC –Ancol), corridor VIII (Harmoni – Lebak Bulus) and corridor X (PGC – Tanjung Priok).

The director of PT Transjakarta, Antonius Kosasih expressed, previously there were only three corridors that operated night buses, such as Corridor I (Blok M – Kota), Corridor III (Harmoni – Kalideres) , Corridor IX (Pinang Ranti – Pluit). “From now on until onward, those corridors will serve local people in the early,” he said via press release, Wednesday (5/6).

Some Bus Operators Agreed to Join with PT Transjakarta

As a start there would be 28 buses will be operated in such corridors. The night-bus service will daily operate from 22.10 PM to 04.30 AM, with regular normal ticket price Rp 3,500 per person.

The following are the list of night buses shelters :

Corridor I,  Pulogadung 1, Pulomas, Cempaka Timur, RS Islam, Rawa Selatan, Senen, Kwitang, Monas, Gambir 1, and Harmoni. 

Corridor V, PGC 2, BKN, UKI Cawang, BNN, Kampung Melayu, Pasar Jatinegara, Slamet Riyadi, Matraman 2, Salemba UI, Kramat Sentiong, Central Senen, Pasar Baru Timur, Jembatan Merah, Mangga Dua Square, Pademangan, and Ancol.  

Coridor VIII, Harmoni, Tomang, Grogol 2, Kedoya Green Garden, Duri Kepa, Kebon Jeruk, RS Medika, Simprug, Pasar Kebayoran Lama, Pondok Indah 2, Pondok Indah 1 and Lebak Bulus. 

Corridor X, PGC 2, Cawang UKI, Cawang Sutoyo, Penas Kalimalang, Utan Kayu Rawamangun, Kayu Putih Rawasari, Pulomas Bypass, Cempaka Mas 2, Yos Sudarso Kodamar, Sunter Kelapa Gading, Plumpang Pertamina, Permai Koja, Enggano, and Tanjung Priok.

Kosasih added, the night bus operational headway will be arranged, because it operate at night with sterile track. “The headway will be adjusted, 10-30 minutes. In the next future whole corridors must be operate 24 hours ,” he disclosed.
