Some Bus Operators Agreed to Join with PT Transjakarta

Some bus operators have agreed to join under the auspices of PT Transportasi Jakarta(Transjakarta). The incorporation of those bus operators to one of BUMNs will start operating on upcoming June 5. 

It means all the buses should be serving under Transjakarta. It will start operating on June 5

"Start joining. It means all the buses should be serving under Transjakarta. It will start operating on June 5," said Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tahaja Purnama, at City Hall, Central Jakarta, Thursday(4/30). 

Basuki mentioned, those bus operators including Mayasari Bhakti that will also operate integrated bus network (APTB), Kopaja and Kopami have agreed to join with PT Transjakarta. "Bus operator of Metromini will also joint yet there is still a trouble," he told.

Basuki asserted, the reason why bus operator of Metromini could not join as the ownership of the orange bus is individual. "We're confused whose the ownership of the bus operators," expressed the former Regent of Belitung Timur. 

Basuki added, the renovation of buses in the city will be conducted gradually for giving the best service to citizens. "Eventually, the operator will change the bus. if they are unable to do that, we give a solution by joining Transjakarta, we pay rupiah per kilometer thus they can be able to pay on credit. And also keep running despite there are no passengers for 10 minutes," he disclosed.
