Sidewalk Repairs on Jalan Raya Gereja Tugu Completed

The Cilincing Sub-district Bina Marga Executing Unit, North Jakarta has completed repairs to the sidewalk on Jalan Raya Gereja Tugu, RT 08/06, Semper Barat Urban Village, Cilincing Sub-dstrict.

 This work involves five personnel

Cilincing Sub-district Bina Marga Executing Unit Head, Hartanto said the repairs were aimed at restoring the sidewalk's function to be comfortable and safe for pedestrians.

"It is done by replacing the old paving blocks with new ones. Then, we also repair the sheet pile that collapsed due to tree roots," he expressed, Friday (9/27).

Sidewalk Arrangement on Jalan Haji Adam Malik Completed

He explained the sidewalk repairs of 50 meters long and 1.1 meters wide were started from September 23 to 25, 2024.

"This work involves five personnel," he explained.

He encouraged the residents maintain the sidewalk by taking care of it and not using it for selling.

"If maintained together, the sidewalk becomes neater and more organized. Pedestrian safety and comfort are a priority," he uttered.

The repair above received appreciation from one of the SMAN 52 students, Nabila Ria (16).

"I always go to and from school by crossing this sidewalk. After it is tidied up, it will certainly increase the safety and comfort of pedestrians, especially since this road is often used by heavy vehicles," she admitted.
