Jakarta contingent grabbed another gold medals from Para Swimming and Tenpin Bowling at Peparnas XVII Solo, Central Java, Tuesday (10/8). With this result, Jakarta has been collecting six gold medals.

Marta Susanty (39) won gold medal in Tenpin Bowling after competing in the TPB2 class. Then Dewa Satrianya also won gold medal in Para Swimming after competing in the men's 200 meter freestyle S11, Monday (10/7).
Jakarta's Swimming Grabs Four Gold MedalsTenpin Bowling Athlete Companion, Baiq Ihtiar Nalara Mandalika explained that the match held at the Bengawan Sport Center venue on Jalan HOS Cokroaminoto No 55, Pucangsawit, Jebres Sub-district, Surakarta, took place from 8 AM to 11 PM.
Six numbers being competed that night, Nalara added, made the match finished at night.
"Last night match against North Sumatra was very fierce. I am so proud since this athlete who just competed in the TPB2 class managed to win a gold medal," Nalara explained.
For the Tenpin Bowling sport, Nalara added, Jakarta sent 10 athletes with the classifications B1, B2, B4, B8, B9 and B10 male and female, as well as two athletes for the wild charge class. Of the 10 athletes, five of them have competed last night and one won a gold medal.
"Three athletes will compete today, and remaining two athletes to compete tomorrow. Hopefully we'll grab gold medals," he added.
Meanwhile, Marta Susanty felt proud to be able to contribute a gold medal for Jakarta contingent. It was her first time participating in Peparnas.
The mother of a blind child since the age of five, admitted that she used to play Bowling at Ancol Jaya Bowling Center, North Jakarta. Her hobby of playing rolling balls has been pursued since she was a child, following her older brother who is a Bowling athlete.
"We are grateful to be able to win a gold medal. This is the first time competing at the national level and we won a gold medal," she said.
