10 Firetrucks Extinguish Fire on a House in Semper Timur

As many as 10 firetrucks with 50 personnel of North Jakarta and Seribu Island Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-agency extinguished fire on a house on Jalan Madya Kebantenan, Merpati 2 Alley, RT 03/02, Semper Timur Urban Village, Cilincing, Friday (10/11).
Personnel needed 30 minutes to extinguish the fire
North Jakarta and Seribu Island Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-agency Head, Rahmat Kristiantio, said his side received report at 11:07 AM through command center.
According to him, first team arrived at the scene at 11:18 AM. Fire was already big on the second floor of the house. Fire then fully handled and started to be extinguished at 11:48 AM.

North Jakarta and Seribu Island Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-agency's Fire Handling and Rescue Section Head, Gatot Sulaeman, explained the fire was triggered by electrical short circuit.
Based on local residents' report, the house owner tried to extinguish the fire but it failed.
"There is no victim caused by the incident. Fire is impacted one family with five people," he explained.
