Thousands of people flocked Hi Roundabout, Central Jakarta to witness the inauguration of President and Vice President Prabowo-Gibran, Sunday (10/20). The stages provided in the area attracted people to enliven the inauguration.

Residents were spread out at various points around the HI Roundabout, especially in front of two large stages equipped with giant LED screens while broadcasting the live broadcast of the inauguration from the DPR/MPR Building. In addition, the LED screen at the Plaza Indonesia Building also broadcasted this historic moment. The hot sun did not dampen the enthusiasm of residents to attend, enjoy the entertainment, and snacks available at the People's Party event.

One of residents living in Lenteng Agung, South Jakarta, Ari Kuntoro (54) came with his family by using MRT from Fatmawati. He said the event provided an opportunity for people to meet the new president directly and thank the previous president.

"We arrived here at 7:45 AM. The event attract us to witness the inauguration process," he said, Sunday (10/20).

He hopes the newly inaugurated president and vice president will focus on community welfare.

Another resident, Bimo (60), living in Pejompongan, he came to capture this special moment as photography is his hobby. According to him, this People's Party is not only an event to witness the inauguration, but also to drive the people's economy with various performances, entertainment, and commercial activities.

"This activity also helps the people economy since many sellers and residents here," he stated.

This historic moment, he added, is expected to strengthen the bond between the government and its people, as well as being the first step towards a better future.
