No KJP for Students Smokers, Ahok Says

The KJP won't be given to students who smoke and have expensive cell phone

Jakarta Provincial Government keeps correcting the mechanism of fund distribution for Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) that given to underprivileged students in the capital. Even, the students who smoke and have expensive cell phone.

"The KJP won't be given to students who smoke and have expensive cell phone," said Jakarta Governor, Basuki 'Ahok' T Purnama, City Hall, Friday (5/15). 

KJP Program Budgeted by Rp 2.4 T

Ahok stated his party tighten the rule thus the KJP fund recipients can be right on target and come from underprivileged family. "We will do it gradually, that's why we're filtering who are really the good ones," he expressed. 

As known, the KJP fund that allocated on 2015 City Budget (APBD) is about Rp 2.4 trillion. Its amount decreased compared to last year, which was about Rp 3 trillion. After it is evaluated, he will decrease the fund up to Rp 600 billion following with finding multiple fund recipients.
