Rice Assistance Given to 1,007 Bukit Duri Residents

As many as 1,007 residents living in Bukit Duri Urban Village, Tebet Sub-district, South Jakarta received rice assistance.

Bukit Duri Urban Village Head, Atiaturrahmah said rice assistance is a program through government's rice stock managed by Logistics Affairs Agency (Bulog).

Atiaturrahmah explained the distribution were run at two locations namely PKK Hall by 504 residents and Urban Village Office yard by 503 residents.
"We divided the distribution to avoid long queue," she added.
Her side will wait until two days if the receivers have not received the rice assistance.
One of the receivers, Sri (52) thanked the assistance given.
"I receive 10 kg rice. Hopefully the assistance can be given routinely," she admitted.
