To anticipate flooding during heavy rain, the Kembangan Utara Urban Village, Kembangan Sub-district, West Jakarta keeps intensifying cleaning of water channels.

Kembangan Utara Urban Village Head, Rudi Hariyanto expressed the channel cleaning was focused on Jalan Haji Saanan, RW 01, 03 and 05, deploying ten personnel of PPSU.
"It is now the rainy season. In order for the water to flow smoothly, the channel must be clean from garbage," he expressed, Thursday (12/12).
Four Channels in Sawah Besar NormalizedHe explained personnel managed to clean them with a total length of 1.5 kilometers. The resulting garbage was then transported using two motor carts.
"Hope the water can flow smoothly and can be free of flooding," he hoped.
The work above received appreciation from one of the residents in RT 02/05 Kembangan Utara Urban Village, Mardhani (51).
"The environment also becomes clean and healthy," she stated.
