Acting Regent Ensures Seribu Islands Flooded Settlement Needs are Met

Based on daily report, each urban village in Seribu Islands now has an average rice stock of around three tons.

"If that is multiplied by six urban villages, the total rice stock will be around 18 tons. When compared to the population and the need for rice, the condition is quite sufficient," she expressed, Wednesday (12/18).

Thus far, the food distribution is still conducted routinely by Perumda Pasar Jaya and Bulog. Moreover, its distribution is still smoothly.

To ensure food sufficiency, especially in the rainy season like now, the urban village is required to report daily food stock conditions to the Regent and will be the basis for policy making and further steps if needed.

"We're still monitoring the field conditions. If needed, we will intervene it soon," he said.
