Acting Jakarta Governor of Jakarta, Teguh Setyabudi, visited several churches in Jakarta, Tuesday (12/24) night.

"Christmas will be conducive, and public security and order will be maintained," he expressed.
He explained the Jakarta administration and the central government had also conducted monitoring to ensure the smooth running of the Christmas celebrations.
"Everything has to run smoothly," he explained.
To foster tolerance between religious communities, the Jakarta administration made good relations with the Religious Harmony Forum, Church Forum, and also other religious forums.
"Until now, there have been no reports of rejection of worship in Jakarta," he uttered.
He added Jakarta is a province that has good tolerance and can make everyone feel comfortable and safe. "Make all residents happy, regardless of their religion and ethnicity," he said.
