President Prabowo Subianto's program to give free nutritious meal for students starts today in several regions, Monday (1/6), including Jakarta.
Four SPPGs have been prepared in early January to distribute meal
Acting Jakarta Education Agency Head, Sarjoko explained four Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG)s have been prepared as the early stage to distribute meal for 12,054 students.
"Four SPPGs have been prepared in early January to distribute meal. Those are SPPG Halim, Susukan Ciracas, Palmerah and SPPG Pulogebang Cakung," explained Sarjoko.
SDN 07 Cipulir Students Get Free Nutritious FoodSarjoko added that SPPG Halim will provide meal for eight schools with total 2,953 students.
Then SPPG Ciracas prepares meal for nine schools with total 3,056 students, SPPG Palmerah to distribute meal for 11 schools with total 2,987 students, and SPPG Pulogebang to distribute meal for 13 schools with total 3,059 students.
"We intensively cooperate with all SPPGs, which are extensions of the National Nutrition Agency, to make sure the program runs smooth," he added.
According to him, free nutritious meal program is to support optimal growth and development, improve learning concentration, and student health at various levels of education.
"There are 17 SPPGs to distribute meal in Jakarta durig January," he continued.

11. SPPG Koja, Yayasan Wadah Titian Harapan (starts January 30)
12. SPPG Yayasan Mora Perkasa, Pulo Gadung (starts January 9)
