City Will Discipline PKL in Tambora

To facilitate pedestrian and minimize the traffic jam in West Jakarta, thousands street vendors (PKL) will be disciplined from Tambora Sub-District area West Jakarta.

The street vendor management at some points is very important because they occupied the pedestrian path and cause the pedestrian cannot use it normally and making the traffic prone to jam

Tambora Sub-District Head, Mursidin said, his side will discipline the street vendors alongside Jalan Pasar Mitra, Jalan Jembatan Dua, and Jalan KH M Mansyur.

"The street vendor management at some points is very important because they occupied the pedestrian path and cause the pedestrian cannot use it normally and making the traffic prone to jam," told Mursidin, Wednesday (5/27)

South Jakarta Administration to Close 5 PKL Temporary Settlement

Mursidin said, as many as 1,500 street vendors are expected were sell alongside the road with details 500 street vendors on Jalan Pasar Mitra Pedestrian, 300 street vendors on Jalan Jembatan Dua, and 700 street vendors on Jalan KH Mas Mansyur.

"We will transport their stall but we will try to set back it first so the pedestrian path can be used normally by the pedestrian or passing vehicle," Mursidin disclosed.
