Environment Agency Holds Free Emission Test at Satya Negara Indonesia University

Jakarta Environment (LH) Agency held a free vehicle emission test at Satya Negara Indonesia University (USNI) on Jalan Arteri Pondok Indah, Kebayoran Lama Utara Urban Village, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta.

Jakarta LH Agency PKKL Division Head, Fitri stated, 17 personnel and 2 emission test cars were deployed in this activity.

Vehicles that didn't pass the emission test were recommended to undergo routine maintenance.

Kebayoran Lama Sub-district Head, Iwan K. Santoso mentioned, this emission test was held in collaboration between Jakarta Environment Agency with USNI and Kebayoran Lama Sub-district.
"I have instructed urban village heads to invite their residents to bring their vehicles to conduct emission test here," he said.
Targeting 200 two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles, this emission test was expected to create a healthy environment without air pollution.
Lecturer of USNI Faculty of Engineering, Nunung expressed her gratitude for emission test which was conducted in collaboration with Kebayoran Lama Sub-district and Jakarta Environment Agency.
"Hopefully this collaboration can be carried out regularly to give a good impact for the environment" she said.
On the other hand, one of the vehicle owners and a resident of RT 06/02, Kebayoran Lama Selatan Urban Village, Rahmadi admitted that he got information about this emission test from Whatsapp group of neighborhood administrators.
According to him, this emission test is very important for vehicle owners to know the vehicle's exhaust gas.
"Alhamdulillah, I passed the emission test because I regularly take care of my motorcycle," he conveyed.
