Commission A Legislator of the Jakarta Legislative Council, Muhammad Hasan Abdillah appreciated the quick response and action of the Jakarta Provincial Government in helping fire victims on Jalan Kemayoran Gempol, RW 04, Kebon Kosong Urban Village, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.

"From providing evacuation tents, basic needs, health posts, and population administration services,"

According to him, Fire Handling and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Agency, Social Agency, BPBD and other related agencies have provided protection and proper services for fire victims.

"From providing evacuation tents, basic needs, health posts, and population administration services. We really appreciate the Jakarta Provincial Government's assistance," he mentioned, Friday (1/24).

He conveyed that this fast and organized response was inseparable from cross-agency synergy. Thus, fire victims get protection and proper services during the recovery period.

"We will also monitor the progress of all of the assistance thus it runs well and ensure that the fire victims are safe and sound," he added.

He suggested the Jakarta Provincial Government to extend the service if fire victims still need assistance after the standard seven-day treatment period.

"We hope the Jakarta Provincial Government to extend the period, considering the massive impact of the fire," he expressed.

He hopes the fire incidents that occur in the last few days will not be repeated.

"I remind all parties to strengthen fire mitigation," he stated.
