Joint personnel conducted foodstuff supervision at five traditional markets in East Jakarta, Tuesday (2/18).

The five traditional markets are Perumnas Klender Market, Sawah Barat Market, Klender SS Market, Pondok Bambu Market and Ciplak Market.

"The samples were tested on a mobile lab deployed at Klender Market. The focuses were on husbandry and agriculture products," he said.
Taufik added the supervision involved 75 joint personnel of Health Sub-agency, PPKUKM, Transportation, Satpol PP, urban village and sub-district apparatuses, City Police, Jakarta PPNS, and other related units.
"We also monitored the prices and stocks of vegetables," he added.
Meanwhile, East Jakarta KPKP's Section of Economy and Food Security Head, Hendra stated there were 11 agriculture and two husbandry samples taken from each markets.
"Totally we took 65 samples of agriculture and husbandry from five markets to be tested. 51 items were safe from dangerous substances," he stated.
