East Jakarta Food Security, Marine and Agriculture (KPKP) Sub-agency supported the Sustainable Food Yard Program launched by Indonesian Police, Monday (2/24).

East Jakarta KPKP Sub-agency Head, Taufik Yulianto said his side is supporting the program for increasing the national food security.
Jakarta to Hold Cheap Food Bazaar at 193 LocationsThe support is given by giving vegetable seeds for urban farming on 700 square meter land at RW 07 Susukan Urban Village.
"We're ready supporting the program fully at East Jakarta Metro Police Resort level," he said.
During the launching, Taufik added, is side was planting chili and tomato with the East Jakarta Metro Resort Police.
"We're also harvesting 20 kilograms of pakcoy," he continued.
East Jakarta Metro Resort Police Chief, Nicolas Ary Lilipaly admitted the program is part of government's effort in providing stronger and equitable food security by using home gardens as food field.
"Hopefully every household can take part in the program to provide nutritious food, while also strengthening family's economic independence," he explained.
