South Jakarta Mayor, Munjirin, ensured the basic needs for flood survivors are met. It was stated by Munjirin during his visit to RW 05, Pejaten Timur Urban Village, Pasar Minggu Sub-district.

Munjirin said the inundation happened in Pejaten Urban Village, Tanjung Barat, Pengadegan, and Rawajati Urban Village was caused by the overflowing of Ciliwung River.

Munjirin admitted there was no residents taking refuge and basic needs have been also distributed by South Jakarta Social Sub-agency.
"We have cooperated to deliver food assistance in this afternoon," he added.
Based on the report, Munjirin continued, the inundation has started to recede since the water level of Ciliwung River also receded.
"I appeal all stakeholders to remain assist the residents before, during, and after the inundation," he appealed.
Meanwhile, Pejaten Timur Urban Village Head, Rocky A Tarigan, explained there are 3,000 people of flood survivors from eight RWs.
Optimal handlings have been given by South Jakarta Social Sub-agency, Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-agency, Health Sub-agency, BPBD, PMI, and so on.
"We'll deploy PPSU personnel, after the water recedes fully, to assist residents cleaning the mud," he stated.
