The program was launched by Jakarta Experience Board (JXB) and RajaMICE was attended by various strategic partners, including representatives from the hospitality industry, transportation modes, tour tourism, recreational venues, government agencies, travel agents, and various related associations.

JXB President Director, Yunn Bali expressed that besides facilitating community mobility during the Eid holiday, the program also strengthened coordination between the government and various sectors in creating effective and efficient solutions for the community.
"Hopefully, this program can provide significant benefits for the tourism industry and the creative economy, including our unit," he hoped.
As information, Lebaran di Jakarta is initiated by Tepanas (Teman Parekraf Nasional), to promote Jakarta as a tourist destination during Eid holiday. This program offers various special deals, such as over 5,000 seats to Jakarta with Bigbird buses from Surabaya, Semarang, Solo, and Yogyakarta.
Then the package includes staying at several selected hotels in Jakarta, which offers a pay for two nights and get three nights deal. There are also special prices to Jakarta from KAI (Kereta Api Indonesia) for departures from Yogyakarta, Semarang, and Surabaya.
Tepanas Community Officer Chief, Panca R Sarungu explained, Jakarta is relatively quieter, as most residents have returned to their hometowns. This condition makes Jakarta very comfortable to enjoy during the seven days before and seven days after Eid, following the motto 'Enjoy Jakarta'.
"This phenomenon of Jakarta being quiet has become an annual tradition and there are many transportation options that can be collaborated for pick-up and drop-off. This year, there are thousands of rooms and transportation seats available at special prices to Jakarta," he explained.
