The Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) once again provided free mudik (exodus) trips for Idulfitri 2025. This program aims to reduce traffic jams and improve the safety of travelers.

It can also minimize the potential for traffic accidents

Registration will open from March 7, 2025. The Jakarta Government will prepare 521 buses for participants with a total of 22,403 seats, as well as 20 trucks that will transport 600 motorbikes.

Then applicants are required to fill out a registration form via online: https://mudikgratis.jakarta.go.id and will close when the quota has been met.

Administrative documents that must be uploaded are Family Card, Jakarta KTP (preferred) and STNK (if driving a motorbike). Each applicant can add a maximum of four family members to one family card.

After successfully registering, they must verify by bringing photocopies of complete administrative documents to the nearest designated location.

Jakarta Dishub Head, Syafrin Liputo said that this year, we would serve them for mudik trips to 20 cities/districts in six provinces.

Participants can also register their motorbikes to be transported by truck to various destinations during this free mudik program.

He explained the motorcycle transport trucks will depart from Pulogadung Terminal on March 26, 2025. Meanwhile, the participants will depart from the National Monument (Monas) area on March 27, 2025.

"Besides reducing the use of private vehicles, especially motorbikes, it can also minimize the potential for traffic accidents," he explained, Thursday (3/6).

This mudik service will take travelers to various cities, such as Lampung, Palembang, Tasikmalaya, Semarang, Solo, Yogyakarta, to Surabaya. Additionally, for travelers who want to bring motorbikes, the Dishub also prepares transport trucks to several terminals in Semarang, Solo, Wonogiri, and Sidoarjo.

"After successfully registering, prospective participants will verify by bringing a photocopy of the administrative documents to the nearest verification location," he added.

"Participants who do not attend according to the verification schedule are deemed to have withdrawn, and the quota will be given to other participants," he stated.
