Governor Pramono Pays Zakat 2025 at Jakarta City Hall

Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung, attended the event for the payment of Zakat, Infak, and Sedekah (ZIS) by Jakarta officials at the Jakarta City Hall on Thursday (3/20).

We can gather for the payment of zakat, infak, and almsgiving 

He encouraged the increase of zakat fulfillment among Jakarta officials.

"Alhamdulillah (thank God), in this afternoon, we can gather for the payment of zakat, infak, and almsgiving from officials in the Jakarta Government," he expressed.

He expressed his gratitude for the increase in the amount of ZIS collected in 2024. He hoped, this year, the amount could keep increasing and exceeding the targets set by Baznas Bazis Jakarta.

He also hoped that the collected zakat, infak, and sedekah could truly benefit the community.

Baznas Bazis Jakarta Chair, Akhmad H Abubakar, reported that in 2024, Baznas Bazis had collected ZIS amounting to Rp 294.1 billion and distributed Rp 305.3 billion. The distribution was done through various programs, including home renovations, assistance to mustahik (the recipients), educational aid, religious outreach, and humanitarian assistance.

Meanwhile, this year, Baznas Bazis aimed to collect ZIS amounting to Rp400 billion.

"In 2025, we set a target of collecting Rp 400 billion; as of March 20, 2025, we have collected Rp 48.6 billion and have distributed Rp 40.8 billion into several programs," he closed.
