I stocked up on MinyaKita and garlic," she said on Thursday (3/27).She pointed out that MinyaKita price in the market was around Rp 18,000 per liter, but at the cheap market was only Rp 15,500 per liter, in line with the Highest Retail Price (HET). She hopes the cheap market can be held regularly, at least once a month.
"As a mother, when there are affordable items, we rush to get them. I bought extra to stock up at home, especially since many stores close for Eid," she asserted.
A similar thing also shared by Kasmona (65), a resident of 08/11 Pademangan Barat Urban Village. He stated that the Cheap Market is very beneficial for low-income residents.
He explained that he bought a Food Station's basic food packages, which includes 2.5 kg rice, 900 ml cooking oil, 1 kg sugar, 1kg flour, 1 pc UHT milk, 1 canned sardine, and 4 packs instant noodles.
"I am really gratefull for the Cheap Market. I buy one package, which is very affordable. For just Rp 100,000, I got a lot of basic food supplies. I hope this Cheap Market can be held regularly," he added.
Wakiah (43), a resident of RT 11/12, Pademangan Barat Urban Village, conveyed that Food Station's Cheap Market was very beneficial and helped residents meet their needs ahead of Eid.
"I bought garlic, syrup, egg, and sugar, with price below Rp 100,000. The prices were incredibly cheap and the stock was plentiful and complete. This Cheap Market is really great, and I hope it continues to be held regularly," she uttered.
