Foul Smell Around JGC Clarified Not Coming from Rorotan RDF

Jakarta Environment (LH) Agency has confirmed that the source of the foul smell reported by residents around Rorotan Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) Plant on Thursday (3/27) night did not originate from RDF Plant.

"There is no activity at Rorotan RDF Plant,"

This is because all the waste in the bunker of Rorotan RDF Plant have been cleared out for the past ten days as part of operational system improvements at the facility.

Jakarta LH Agency Public Relations Officer, Yogi Ikhwan, stated that his party has ensured that his side quickly responded to complaints by conducting a field inspection. He assured that no activities are taking place at Rorotan RDF at the moment.
