150,000 Tourists Storm Ancol Until Third Day of Eid

Since the first day of Eid al-Fitr, Monday (3/31) to Wednesday (4/2), 150,000 tourists have visited the tourist area of Taman Impian Jaya Ancol, North Jakarta.

Until this evening, the Ancol area is still crowded with 150,000 visitors

PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk Corporate Communication, Daniel Windriatmoko said that on Monday (3/31), the total number of visitors was 35,000; 60,000 were on Tuesday (4/1); and 54,000 were on Wednesday (4/2).

"Until this evening, the Ancol area is still crowded with 150,000 visitors," he expressed.

According to him, visitors explored several tourist spots such as Ancol Beach area, Dufan, Ocean Dream Samudra, Sea World, Atlantis Water Adventure, and Jakarta Bird Land.

"A variety of special events have been prepared across all recreational units in Ancol. The aim is for visitors to enjoy and experience the wonders of tourism in Ancol," he admitted.

They also implemented a centralized parking system. Visitors with motor vehicles will be directed to the designated parking area, which has a capacity of 8,500 cars and 18,400 motorbikes.

"For the convenience of visitors, we have also prepared 82 free shuttle buses for visitors. There are also 15 Transcare units, specifically for the elderly, pregnant women, and visitors with special needs," he explained.

Ancol had also increased the combined security force consisting of the police, army, Satpol PP, Transportation Agency (Dishub), Fire Agency, and Operational officers.

It was also completed with eight Lifeguard posts, one Service Post, five Security posts, eight ambulances, two fire trucks, and five tow cars.

"May this holiday trip to Ancol become a memorable and unforgettable moment of togetherness for all visitors," he hoped.
