Second Day of Eid, Monas Bustling with Thousands of Tourists

The National Monument (Monas) remains one of the favorite tourist destinations for the long holiday.

"4,445 people visited Monas on the second day of Eid,"

On the second day of Eid al-Fitr, Tuesday (4/1), Monas Area Management Unit (UPK) Head, Muhammad Isa Sarnuri, recorded that the number of visitors reached 4,445 people by this noon.

"By 10 AM, 4,445 people visited Monas on the second day of Eid," he mentioned.

Those were consisted of 2,949 adults, 1,459 children, and 37 foreign tourists. According to him, the foreign tourists were from China (27 people), UK (4 people), India (3 people), and South Korea (3 people).

Isa pointed out that during Eid holiday, there would be no restrictions on the number of visitors wishing to explore the museum and surrounding plaza.

However, the peak of Monas can only accommodate up to 2,400 visitors.

"The number of visitors allowed to go to the peak is 2,400 per session, with 200 visitors allowed per hour. For the diorama, museum, and plaza, there is no limit on the number of visitors," he said.

For your information, on April 1-3 and 7, 2025, Monas will be open from 8 AM to 10 PM. Ticket counters will be open until 9 PM. Meanwhile, Monas area can be accessed by visitors from 06 AM to 10 PM.

From April 4-6, Monas will only operate from 08 AM to 06 PM, and ticket counters will close at 5 PM.

During Eid holiday, Monas will showcase captivating attractions and entertainment stages, including video mapping, light festival, and dancing fountain, all taking place from April 4-6, 2025, at the South Plaza of Monas.

On April 5, visitors can enjoy the entertainment stage, which will be enlivened by music performances from The Rain, Sandy Canester, and others.
