DPRD Chairman Supports City's Efforts to Enhance Rorotan RDF Plant Facilities

Jakarta Council (DPRD) Chairman, Khoirudin expressed his support for Jakarta Government's efforts to improve facilities at Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) Plant in Rorotan, North Jakarta.

Jakarta Environment (LH) Agency targets to make the world's largest RDF Plant operational by July 2025.
Currently, RDF Rorotan facility is being upgraded, including the addition of deodorizers.

He also supports the city's efforts to operate RDF Rorotan without affecting the local residents negatively. he hopes the waste processing facility will not have any negative impact on the surrounding community.
"Address the impact first. Make sure the community isn’t disturbed by the RDF operation," he asserted.
He assured that DPRD and Jakarta Government would soon discuss the additional budget for RDF Rorotan.
"Yes, the changes will be discussed soon, and the plan will be completed by July," he said.
