The Matraman Sub-District is going to open a cheap staple food market on 7 days before Idul Fitri (D-7). It will be held simultaneously in six urban villages and sub-district offices.
"We're still coordinating with the Marine, Agriculture, and Food Security Sub-Department to obtain low-cost egg and meat, as well as some companies which have the CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility Program)," told Head of Matraman Sub-District, Hari Nugroho, Wednesday (6/24).
Staples Price Skyrocketing in Central JakartaAccording to Nugroho, his party is also finalizing the event to be held twice or D-7 and D-14 before Idul Fitri. It is hoped able to lighten resident's burden to get cheaper staples food with affordable price than in market.
