Pramono: RPJMD 2025-2029 to Guide Jakarta's Path as a Global City

The Jakarta Council (DPRD) has approved the Draft Regional Regulation (Raperda) for 2025-2029 Regional Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD) at the plenary meeting held on Wednesday (6/18).

"... gratitude and appreciation to the chairpersons and all members of DPRD,"

Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the DPRD chairpersons and members for their commitment, thoroughness, and precision in reviewing the content of the Raperda.

"Together with executive, I would like to express gratitude and appreciation to the chairpersons and all members of DPRD," he conveyed.

He encouraged continued synergy and collaboration between legislative and executive to advance Jakarta's development as a global city and a national development center.

"This is also a step toward transparent and accountable governance, aiming to achieve good government management that focuses on public service," he added.

According to him, a strengthened collaboration will result in more effective programs and initiatives that benefit Jakarta residents’ welfare.

Pramono further stated that the establishment of the RPJMD for 2025-2029 will serve as a foundation for Jakarta's five-year development to realize the city's vision of becoming a globally competitive, sustainable, and prosperous for all of its citizens.

With the approval of RPJMD draft, it is expected to support the achievement of medium-term missions, the implementation of global city strategies, and the stages of long-term regional development. Besides, it will also contribute to the national development agenda set out in the antional medium-term plan.

"Once again, I extend my deepest gratitude and appreciation to all the leaders and members of the Council for finalizing the Jakarta RPJMD 2025-2029," he said.
