Repair of Retaining Walls on Jalan Danau Agung 2 Completed

The repair of the retaining walls located on Jalan Danau Agung 2, RT 14/10, Sunter Agung Urban Village, finally completed.

Hopefully, the channel becomes more solid

Tanjung Priok Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Executing Unit Coordinator, Wardi said, the damage was caused by tree roots penetrating the retaining wall construction.

"We made repairs at two points. The first point measures 15 meters in length and five meters at the second point. The depth is 115 centimeters and the width is 80 centimeters," he expressed, Friday (7/4).

He explained, this work involved seven personnel. It began with dismantling and dredging the channel. Then, rocks were installed to build a 20-centimeter thick retaining wall, and the final stage involved plastering and grouting.

"It had been ongoing since June 12, 2025. It was completely done yesterday," he explained.

He added that e verything went smoothly, and hopefully the channels would return to optimal functioning without causing concern among the residents.

"Hopefully, the channel becomes more solid and does not cause clogging or blockages," he hoped.

This repair received appreciation from a security officer, Aryanto (47).

"Thank you for the quick response of the personnel; now the residents feel safer and more comfortable," he stated.
