The city administration intends to re-build a guidance location (Lokbin) of street vendors at RT 05 RW 02 Susukan, Ciracas, East Jakarta, that burnt on last Wednesday (6/25).
The re-building of vendors’ shelter that has 170 persons capacity will be filed on 2015 Revised City Budget (APBD-P) and targeted to be built in the upcoming 2016.
Susukan Lokbin Neglected"We will file it on APBD-P, thus it could be built in the upcoming 2016," said Head of The Jakarta Small and Medium Enterprises Cooperatives (KUMKMP) Department, Joko Kundaryo, Wednesday (7/1).
He mentions the lokbin will eventually be built with concept of semi-market in which basic needs for citizens sold inside of it. The lokbin itself, all this time, accommodating around 175 street vendors with a total of kiosks is amounted to 170 units.
"So, we're planning it this year. And build it next year," he disclosed.
