Jakarta Schools Urged to Continue Providing Interactive Learning

Jakarta Legislative Council Commission E Chairman, Muhammad Thamrin welcomes the Jakarta Government's decision to implement remote learning, especially for schools near protest sites.

This decision is a form of protection

"The safety and peace of all school residents are the most important things. This decision is a form of protection that we should appreciate," he expressed, Tuesday (9/2).

Nevertheless, he admitted that remote learning presents its own challenges for schools, teachers, and parents. Schools are encouraged to continue providing interactive and enjoyable learning experiences.

Disdik Continues to Implement Learning Process

"For parents, we understand that extra effort is needed. Let's support each other and collaborate with teachers for the smooth education of children," he explained.

To the students, Thamrin urged them to stay enthusiastic even though learning activities are temporarily conducted remotely. Hopefully, Jakarta's situation will soon improve, thus students can return to face-to-face schooling.

"To our beloved children, stay enthusiastic. Consider remote learning as a new experience to learn more independently. We also pray that the demonstrations proceed peacefully and orderly, so the city atmosphere returns to harmony," he stated.
