3,070 Homecomers Departed From Pulogadung Terminal

As much as 3,070 homecomers have been departed from Pulogadung Terminal on D-3 until D-1 of Eid ul-Fitr. Its number is decreasing compared to last year, which was  only 4,500 people.

There were 4,500 homecomers departed last year. But this year, until 10 AM, we only managed to depart 3,070 people

“There were 4,500 homecomers departed last year. But this year, until 10 AM, we only managed to depart 3,070 people,” reported Head of Pulogadung Terminal, Simon Ginting, Thursday (7/16).

D-2, Pulogadung Terminal Still Quiet

Ginting admitted that the situation is beyond from the terminal management’s expectation. Initially, he predicted that the peak of passengers in terminal would happen on D-3.

“On D-3, as much as 1,075 passengers were departed using 41 buses,” he explained.

Then, on D-2, he furthered, its number increased to 1,596 using 136 buses. “Until this Thursday morning, we have departed 3,070 passengers,” he told.

If there is no passenger surge until tonight, he continued, it means the peak of homecoming flow has been happened on D-2 yesterday. “I predict there will be no passenger surge today,” he predicted.
