Trash Volume in W. Jakarta Decreased Significantly

The seriousness of Jakarta Provincial Government realizing Jakarta to be clean of trash, starts having result. In West Jakarta, the trash that formerly reached up to 1,400 tons a day, now it decreases significantly up to 7,000 tons only  a day. 

All the cleanliness freelancers are deployed to handle cleanliness land trash in West Jakarta

Head of West Jakarta Cleanliness Sub-Department, Syarifudin told, as many as 500 freelancers are involved to clean the trash. 

"All the cleanliness freelancers are deployed to handle cleanliness land trash in West Jakarta," Syarifudin told, Monday (7/20).

He explained, the more minimal of the trash volume, cannot be separated from the government's commitment to realize Jakarta to be clean from trash, neither from roads or water channels and rivers. 

Regarding there are still trash. according to him, it is because the lack of citizens' awareness to throw the trash in its place. Hence in future, his party will involve private side to empower citizens in trash managing.
