46,495 Homecomers Come Back to Jakarta

Jakarta began crowded back by home comers who celebrated Idul Fitri in their hometowns. Until 4 days after Idul Fitri, as many as 46,495 passengers came to Jakarta through three intercity-interprovincials (AKAP) bus terminal.  

We predicted that today will be the peak of returning flow

Most of home comers that arrived in Kampung Rambutan, and Pulogadung Terminal in East Jakarta and Kalideres Terminal in West Jakarta came from some cities in West Java, Central Java, and Sumatra.

"We predicted that today will be the peak of returning flow because most of employees in government agency and private will start their activity tomorrow. Moreover, the passengers who arrived in terminals began to increase since last night," told Terminal Technical Management Unit (UPT) Head of Jakarta Transportation Department, Muslim, Tuesday (7/21).

A Homecomer Reported an Autobus Company to Pulogadung Pospol

According to him, the home comers who arrived in capital were using 2,962 AKAP buses.

"Most of home comers arrived in Kampung Rambutan Terminal. We had coordinated with AKAP bus operators in order to prepare schedule for arrival at night," Muslim disclosed.
