840 Kampung Pulo Residents will Be Relocated On Next Saturday

On upcoming Saturday (7/25), as many as 840 householders (KK) who live on 512 plots on Ciliwung riverbank, Kampung Pulo, East Jakarta will be relocated to Jatinegara Flats (Rusunawa).
Around 60 KK are already moved to the flats
Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Kukuh Hadi Santosa said, 170 of 900 KK in Kampung Pulo area already get keys to move into Jatinegara Flats.
"Around 60 KK are already moved to the flats," he explained, Tuesday (7/21).

Furthermore, Santosa admitted to ask remaining citizen to move into flat nicely.
"On upcoming Saturday, we will hold discussion with the residents, we will tell them that we are not willing to demolish their building, but ask them to move into a better and healthier place," he explained.
Santosa hoped, the residents will move to the flat voluntarily because the relocation place is not far away from their location.
"This is our attention to the residents, we ask them to move because we don't want them to be flooded when it rains," he disclosed.
