Ahead of 70th Independence Day, Jakarta Vice Governor Djarot Saiful Hidayat instructed all urban village and sub-district heads to decorate their area and repair all public facilities such as damaged sidewalks and fences around park.

Considering East Jakarta has a larger land and there must be a priority handling, especially on sidewalks alongside protocol road.

Responding on that matter, East Jakarta Mayor Bambang Musyawardhana said the instruction will be followed up on Tuesday (7/28). The whole apparatus in his area will be deployed to decorate their own area. He admitted, this activity will be easy because same as when there will be Adipura valuation.
