On Tuesday (7/28), as many as 149 joint personnel including urban village, sub-district, Military, and Police personnel were deployed to demolish hundred buildings along 4 km on Jalan Inspeksi Kalimalang, Pondok Bambu, and Duren Sawit, Duren Sawit Sub-District, East Jakarta. The building such as grocery store, cars and motorcycle washing place and fence were dismantled using heavy equipment because affected by Bekasi, Cawang, Kampung Melayu (Becakayu) Highway Construction.

East Jakarta Administration Mayor, Bambang Musyawardhana said, the demolition is the follow-up activities after the cessation of previous demolition because citizen's demand to prepare Eid.
"In total, there are 150 buildings, but only 27 buildings were demolished so the remaining 102 buildings will be demolished starting today," told Musyawardhana.

Duren Sawit Sub-District, Abu Bakar added, his side still inventory the land ownership certificate before the compensation value decided by appraisal team.
"The land width is varied. There were 8 meters, 12 meters, and up to 24 meters adjusted by the needs," said Abu Bakar.
He said, besides in Pondok Bambu, there are 30 fields in Pondok Kelapa and 5 fields in Duren Sawit are not freed.
"In near future, we will only give compensation for 2 fields in Duren Sawit because there is agreement about compensation value that determined by the appraisal team of Rp 12 million per square meter," he added.
