Jakarta Governor Basuki 'Ahok' Tjahaja Purnama is going to imprison citizens who make the fake Building Permit (IMB). It is because can disserve many sides and makes urban planning in Jakarta chaotic.

We're coordinating with police. Such things will be reported to police to give deterrent effect

Ahok claimed many affairs in processing IMB conducted by oknum (rogue individuals) and broker. Therefore, now the processing can be done via online system. "We fix it slowly. As there were so many brokers," said Ahok, at City Hall, Thursday (7/30).

His party also has coordinated with Jakarta City Police to handle fake IMB. Moreover, it also includes in 5 orders promoted by the city administration and City Police. If fake IMB is found, it must be reported to Police. Hopefully, it can give deterrent effect for the oknum.

"We're coordinating with police. Such things will be reported to police to give deterrent effect," asserted Former Regent of East Belitung.

As known, some buildings have been sealed by Jakarta government due to using fake IMB. One of them is owned by State Administrative Court (PTUN) at Jalan Cikini Raya, Menteng, Central Jakarta. The government has been issued IMB online since February 2014 ago. Hopefully, by using this system can decrease brokering which is rampant in IMB processing. Besides, it also simplifies citizens in processing and shorten the process timing.
