Ahok Inaugurated 303 Eselon II-IV Officials

Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) inaugurated as many as 303 echelon-II until -IV officials serving under Jakarta Provincial Government. The induction itself was held in City Hall, Friday (8/7).

I don't need smart people, I need people who want to work and not corrupt

Not only that, Ahok also demoted 41 echelon-II until -IV officials. This is because they were proven deviant things, such as extortion, slow service, etc.

"I look for people who want work, I don't need smart people, I need people who want to work and not corrupt," he exclaimed, when he gave a speech in City Hall.

Bad Performance, 56 Echelon III and IV Demoted

He also reminded the newly inaugurated officials not to feel safe and happy because their performance will be monitored and evaluated regularly. If the performance is bad, they will be sanctioned, such as demotion.

Total of the demoted officials are 4 people from echelon-II, 11 people from echelon-III officials and 26 people from echelon-IV. While for the promoted officials are 10 people from echelon-II, 32 people from echelon-III and 260 people from echelon-IV.

As for the echelon-II officials that have been inaugurated are Head of Jakarta Goods and Service Procurement Body (BPPBJ) Blessmiyanda, Seribu Islands Regent Budi Utomo, Deputy Head of Jakarta Financial Management and Asset Body (BPKAD) Michael Rolandi Cresnanta Brata. There are also Deputy Head of Secretariat Governance Bureau Bayu Meghantara and East Jakarta Deputy Mayor Irmansyah, Central Jakarta Secretary Zainal, East Jakarta Administration Secretary Junaidi, Seribu Islands Deputy Regent M. Anwar, South Jakarta Secretary Desi Putra, and Deputy Governor Assistant of Jakarta Industry Trade and Transportation Meri Ernahani.
